Me a fanboy? Oh god! I only brought the wii in because you mentioned what console was winning and I told you what was winning. How is this being like a fanboy. I pointed out what was wrong with your posts - you tried to justify you sales claim on bad maths and I corrected you. SO I really don't understand how that makes me a fanboy as I wasn't the one using exageratted figures to back up a claim.

but the issues you pointed out were not huge issues. Simply taking care of my NES worked for me as I knew cartridge slots in general are prone to breaking for conspicuous reasons like dust. My point was on a whole nintendo are the only company around today that has not had a fuss made about the lack of reliability of its products.

Who knows it could have been a faulty batch. Although that does seem alot as ps3 fault rates are with the wii -ie. well within industry standards.
the only console manufacturer never to have had problems with its consoles is nintendo. Combine that with a first class customer service means they are the ones to beat.
Not to put sony down as this is a nice gesture from their part, because of course they did not have to fix these ps3's.

its not so stupid when you consider the VALUE (I can do caps too xD) of the consoles. The ps3 comes with luxuries such as blu ray whereas nintendo merely asked you to pay for a gaming console - hence the price difference! But I wouldn't expect you to consider that crazy with all your crazy predictions. Was it you who predicted 25million sales for the ps3 this year. About the same as the wii? Thats crazy! :)

I agree with anyone who says comparing the ps3 to the gamecube is not an insult. The gamecube was my favourite console last gen, I can't remember the countless hours I lost on F-Zero.

and this is why the next playstation will be released with the other consoles. They won't let MS take the lead again and they gotta catch up to nintendo and aim to take back the casual market that made the ps1 and ps2 so successful.

Maybe motion sensing plus (or whatever its called) will help with wii sports 2 coming out.
the ps2 was at around 30 million worldwide at this point in its lifecycle. The wii is close to 50 million and has already outsold the ps2's peak year last year. This year wii supply will be upped and it will sell out once again. If demand drops nintendo can afford to half the price if neccessary. I fail to see how the wii will NOT outsell the ps2.
